As Marvel keeps adding movies to the MCU it's natural to assume that they'll eventually make a movie that drops the ball. Especially when they advertise their movies for so long and get them surrounded by so much hype. However, Guardians of the Galaxy is not going to be the movie that drops that proverbial ball. Especially when they advertise their movies for so long and get them surrounded by so much hype. However, Guardians of the Galaxy is not going to be the movie that drops that proverbial ball. Summer Movies 2014

With Captain America: The Winter Soldier apparently kicking off the 2014 Summer movie season, I decided to list the movies that I'm looking forward to this Summer. Because, apparently, a movie that came out in April a "summer movie", but I guess that's how things work. Anyway, these are the movies that I'm most anticipating during the summer. If anything, this is really probably just an admission of how well or how poorly a movie was advertised to me as an individual. That has no real bearing on how good or bad I think the movie might be, but let's pretend that means something. 10. Transformers: Age of Extinction (June 27) Michael Bay is back with a new leading man and some new Transformers. This June the 4th installment of his Transformers series hits theaters. I suspect that, like me, most people are either burnt out or wary of another Transformers movie. I'm neutral on the idea of Mark Wahlberg being the new star of the franchise but what really got me was the Dinobots. Regardless of how I felt about there being another film, as soon as I saw Grimlock on the screen I knew this movie was going to get my money. 9. Neighbors (May 9) At first glance this appears to be another Jud Appatow / Seth Rogen jaunt that's going to be full of sophomoric and uninteresting humor.
