The Hunger Games: Catching Fire

Recently, I watched the Hunger Games: Catching Fire. This franchise isn't very big on my radar so I hadn't intended to write anything on it, but it seems to keep coming up in my day to day conversations, so here goes. First of all I should make 3 things perfectly clear: I have not read the Hunger Games books, any of them. I do not intend to read any of these books, but I have done a bit of research to find out the major differences between the books and the movies. While I understand that the movie is based on the books, my opinion of the movie is not tied to how good or bad the movie is as an adaptation of the book, rather as how it holds up on its own as a movie. So, if I criticize the movie for something that was also part of the books, then just assume that I'm criticizing the book for making the same decision or, at least, the movie for not deviating from that decision. So, now that all that's out of the way, let me give you my overall opinions and thoughts from the movie. What Happened Here's how I'd tell you what happens in the "Catching Fire".
