Friends From College

Featuring Keegan-Michael Key and Fred Savage, this Netflix series takes  a comedic look at the intertwined lives of friends from Harvard as they reunite in their 40's. Backed by a nostalgic 90's soundtrack, the series explores the complications of (among other things) marrying your past with your present. 7754

Winners and losers for Comicbooks / Super Shows in Spring 2017

During the spring 2017 season, I put a moratorium on doing episode-by-episode write-ups on the TV shows I was following. I felt like there were starting to get to be too many shows and that too many of the ones I was doing write-ups on had become comic book based. Obviously, I love that genre, but I wanted to take a step back and remember what it was like watching those shows normally. I also figured that there's more than enough people doing up to the minute coverage of this whole genre. So, I sat back and watched, and here were my takeaways from the season. 7591

Gotham: Season 2 “Wrath of the Villains”

Now that Theo Galavan is out of the picture and the Penguin is public enemy #1, things are a mess in Gotham. So, of course, Gordon heads back to the police force. 6968

Suits: Season 5b

Well, I was wrong about Mike's arrest for fraud being a cliffhanger gimmick. The second half of season 5 of USA's legal drama finally forces the firm of Pearson Specter Litt to deal with the secret at the hart of Mike Ross' career.  6865

Gotham: Season 2 “Rise of the Villains”

After they dropped Jerome in episode 3, I left Gotham on the back burner. Now that they've hit their winter finale, I've come back to see where the show is now. 5958

Game of Thrones: Season 5

Alright, I got kind of behind on Game of Thrones Season 5. So, instead of doing an episode-by-episode write-up I'm just gonna do the entire season at once. Normally, that would prove to be a very daunting task, but I feel like this season of GoT made it doable. 4288
