Disney has created a theatrical version of their Tony winning Broadway show Newsies and released it to the masses via Fathom Events.
boThe primary reason (read "excuse") for the trip to NYC was a happenstance purchasing of tickets to Hamilton: An American Musical. Despite living several hundred miles away, I have a set of friends that are big Broadway buffs. A few months before, they had convinced me to listen to the soundtrack. I listened to it on Spotify and, a couple of months after that, I was asked if I wanted to go see the play in January. I didn't think too much about it but, turns out, I ended up buying tickets to one of the hottest shows on Broadway.
Back in January, several of us took a trip to NYC. At the time, we intended to do some articles on the different shows that we saw there. Then, we got snowed on and...well, we forgot about it. After coming across this draft in the archives, I decided to go ahead and flesh it out for posterity.
