There’s no time for Tatsumi to contemplate the latest loss as the team has arrived at Kyoroch, where the Path of Peace organization has set up. They’ve got to move on to the next step of their plan and kill, Borick, the man who endangers the uprising of the religious organization.
As you’d expect of such a high profile target, this man has been given help from the capital as well. Along with the Jaegers showing up, he also employs the Four Koukenji Rakshasa Demons. A group of specially trained fighters that can manipulate their bodies instead of using Imperial Arms. The two groups meet and have a bit of a dick measuring contest while they take turns sneaking up on each other. Even though it doesn’t appear that they’re as strong as the Jaegers, Esdeath realizes that the religious organization must be really important if both of these groups have been brought there.
The Demons waste no time in finding members of Night Raid. Two of them identify Lubbock as a spy and attack him and a third attacks Akame. Akame knows her attacker from her time in the assassination squad. He turns out to be your typical sinewy creep with rubbery movements and a tounge that his mouth seems unable or unwilling to contain. Akame makes quick work of him after he tries to take her sword. Lubbock tries to avoid his fight but, when his attackers turn their attention to a female spy that he was supposed to meet, he steps in. His fight is a little more arduous but he still manages to take out both attackers with relatively little trouble.
Meanwhile, Tatsumi and Mine go on another date…I mean spend the day scouting the city. They end up on the outskirts of town, arguing like the normally do. They are met by the actual leader of the Path of Peace religion, who tells them that they are bound by the red thread of fate and would make a good couple. Elsewhere, news of the three Demon’s defeat spreads, strengthening the Jaegers’ resolve that they will be the ones to take down Night Raid.
- Esdeath dissected Chelsea’s corpse and then let Seryu feed it to Coro. I know the girl’s already dead, but that’s messed up.
- Kurome’s fighting it, but whatever Chelsea did to her has severely weakened her.
- At the beginning of the episode Tatsumi is thinking about Sheele, Bulat and Chelsea
- Kurome is continuing to push herself because she’s afraid that she will be discarded and killed if she can no longer fight.
